We and the Municipality of Kalamata are making an effort in organizing several activities free of charge during the 3rd Mediterranean World Cup for the Athletes and their families/friends in order to make the event an unforgettable experience.

 
Preliminary Schedule:

Sunday 6th June,        Late afternoon transfer bus leaving from Athens to transfer all                                        athletes flying into Athens to our hotel in Kalamata

 

Monday 7th June,       Morning - 1st training/test session

                                    Evening - Registration & Opening Ceremony organized by the                                         Municipality of Kalamata

 

Tuesday 8th June,      Opening of Fred Buyle's U/W Photography Exhibition

 

Thursday 10th June,   Late afternoon - Guided tour of ancient Olympia organized by                                         the Municipality of Kalamata

 

Saturday 12th,            Evening - Guided tour of Ancient Messini - The largest complete                                     ancient city found in the World

 

Sunday 13th June,      Mediterranean World Cup Event Meeting & Performance                                                   Announcements

 

Monday 14th June,     1st Competition Day Mediterranean World Cup

 

Wednesday 16 / Thursday 17th June Day off - Hiking trip to the Rintomou gorge (4                                         hour round trip) Organized by the Kalamata Mountaineering                                           Club

Friday 18th June,       Opening of Mediterranean Underwater Expo—Diving Equipment                                     Exhibition (Location Messinian Bay Hotel)

 

Sunday 20th June,      Closing Ceremony & Party Organized by the Municipality of                                             Kalamata

 

Sunday 20th June,      Late transfer bus to Athens Airport for all those leaving from                                          Athens
