Our home base during the 3rd Mediterranean World Cup will be the Messinian Bay Resort Hotel located by the beach approximately 4km from the city of Kalamata. We have arranged significantly discounted accommodation prices:

 

 

Prices Per Person - full board basis (breakfast & 2 a’la carte meals):

 

Triple Room:      35,00 € / night

Double Room:    37,00 € / night

Single Room:     60,00 € / night

In order to guarantee your place at the meeting and the accommodation prices listed above all accommodation bookings and the accommodation deposit must be received by the organizers by the 31st of March 2010. After that date we cannot guarantee accommodation availability at the stated prices.

The nearest airport to Kalamata is the Kalamata International Airport (KLX) located 5 minutes from our hotel. Kalamata Airport is serviced by many charter and regular shuttle flights.

Information on transfers to Kalamata from Athens airport will be available shortly.

 

A free transfer bus has been arranged from Athens to our Resort in Kalamata for the 6th June leaving from Athens late in the afternoon arriving in Kalamata in the evening. Taxis from Kalamata Airport to the Messinian Bay Resort Hotel are at €20-€25 per ride – we will try to arrange group transfers were/when possible. Up to 3 people can share a taxi and larger groups arriving at the same time will be transferred by mini bus to further reduce costs. When booking flights please note that additional Aegean Airways shuttle flights will be starting from Athens Airport to Kalamata Airport from May 15th 2010 which might not yet be shown on flight itineraries. Also note that a lot of low cost charter flights will be available from many European Airports to Kalamata during the time of the World Cup.
